Jump On It University Youth Panels will focus on gaming, sports and monetizing social media. The scheduled panels are listed below.
The purpose of these panels are to educate youth on how to utilize social media in a positive way. Youth will learn how to navigate through negative influences and content, how to avoid cyber bullying and how to turn social media interactions into productive activity. Panels will hone in on teaching youth how to discover and understand their value as person and the importance of their online presence and representation. Panels will be facilitated by Jump On It in collaboration with the San Antonio Spurs and the African American Youth Harvest Foundation. The "Supporting Athletes" panel is for parents that have kids involved in sports.
